Help the Bennett Family with their Loss

Hello Friends,

My name is Patty Christensen, Pam Bennett’s sister. Our family is shocked and devastated to announce the loss of Dennis Bennett. The beloved husband of Pam, devoted father to Brianna, Brooke and Beau, and proud grandfather to Liam (7), Declan (5), Adeline (3), and Troy (1), as well as a bonus grandfather to Ryder (11) and Presley (9). Dennis had a successful painting contracting business and was the sole provider for himself and Pam. He was extremely involved in his children’s and grandchildren’s lives and was determined to make sure everyone was taken care of before himself. His selflessness was proven daily and is continuously recognized by friends and family that had the opportunity to be touched by Dennis’ presence.

On Tuesday, September 19th, Dennis’ family gathered to celebrate his 61st birthday, he went to bed early not feeling well and was extremely tired. Thinking he had food poisoning and dealing with the symptoms for a day or two, he reluctantly went to the ER on Thursday, September 21st. By this time, his body was already in Septic Shock with kidney and liver failure. Admitted to the ICU, they discovered he had a fractured elbow from playing basketball with his grandsons on September 10th. There is no known cause of what happened or why. Numerous amounts of medication along with rounds of dialysis could not fight the infection or raise his blood pressure. In the late evening on Sunday, September 24, 2023, his body went into cardiac arrest, resulting in his passing at 11:46 p.m.

The family is in utter disbelief from this sudden series of events. Unfortunately, during this time, Dennis did not have medical insurance and Pam had accepted responsibility for all medical services provided by the hospital.
