Help the Bennett Family Recover and Heal

Donation protected
It is with the utmost profound sadness that I announce the passing of Jeffrey Bennett. He passed away on Good Friday right before the sunrise, which was very fitting because Jeff dedicated himself to the church and was always volunteering to preach for several nursing facilities in the East County on his own time and never expected anything in return because that's just the kind of man Jeff was.

Jeff and his wife, Josey, have been my very best friends since junior high. These two ended up becoming high school sweethearts and marrying shortly after graduation. They eventually had three beautiful children named Isaiah, Anthony, and Susan.

Life had treated them well and they were blessed in every way possible, until earlier this year when Jeff went into the hospital for a stroke. That stroke turned out to be an aggressive brain tumor that grew at a rapid pace. The neurosurgeon told them the tumor was inoperable due to the fact his quality of life would be diminished if he would even survive the surgery at all. The doctor then told Jeff and the family that he only had a month left to live.

This news was devastating for the family to hear for obvious reasons. One being that Jeff will no longer be there as a husband and father, and the second is Jeff was the breadwinner of the family, providing everything his family needed. Unfortunately, he did not have any life insurance or any sort of guarantee that his family would be taken care of in the event of his death.

If you can find it in your heart to donate to this wonderful and giving family so they can give Jeff a proper funeral service and cover cremation costs, it would mean the world to them. No dollar is too small and I know Josey and her family will be forever grateful for your kindness and generosity. Any donation will allow them to also get back on their feet to continue with housing, utilities, as well as groceries. If you can't contribute to this cause, sharing this story so that others may see it would be just as appreciated. Thank you to each and every one for taking the time to read this.

With eternal gratitude,
The Bennett Family
