Help the Benn Family Through Keegan's Myhre Journey
Donation protected
During this difficult time I am asking if any friends and family are able to donate to help the Benn family, I would be forever grateful. As most everyone knows, my nephew Keegan was diagnosed with Myhre syndrome, an ultrarare genetic disorder. Since his diagnosis he has been in and out of Boston’s Children’s hospital for various medical issues. His most recent visit that began last week and where they still are now is for testings such as an echocardiogram, cat scan, EKG’s and catheterization. Keegan has been suffering with breathing issues and in need of using oxygen over the past year. Most recently his lungs were starting to fill with fluid which required more in depth testing showing that he has a valve issue within his heart and will need surgery. The doctors at Boston Children’s are doing extensive testing as Keegan is one of the first patients they have seen with Myhre. I am making this go fund me to help the Benn family anyway I can. Jody and Matt are out of work and not sure of Matt’s return date, the trips back and forth twice a day to Boston are long and not easy for Matt while Keegan (and Jody) are admitted. This has been quite the journey for them over the years and the newest symptoms have the entire family’s heart breaking. Even just a share would be a great way to help!
