Help the Benincasa Family Fight Cancers

My name is Natalie Benincasa, and I’m creating this fundraiser for my family, my parents, Roberto and Terri Benincasa, and my brother, Danny. The past two years have been more heartbreaking than I could ever put into words. My mom, Terri, has been the primary caregiver for my dad, Roberto, as he battles laryngeal cancer. Now, in a devastating turn, she has been diagnosed with an aggressive stage 4 ovarian cancer. Our family is facing unimaginable challenges, and we need your support more than ever.

In November 2023, my dad, Roberto, was diagnosed with laryngeal cancer, leaving him unable to eat or speak normally and dependent on a feeding tube. For nearly two years, my mom, Terri, has been his full-time caregiver, doing everything she could to keep our family together. Then, a month ago, my dad was hospitalized at UCLA with a collapsed lung and pulmonary fibrosis, and at this point he will be dependent on oxygen for the rest of his life.

Just when we thought things couldn’t get any worse, my mom received devastating news, she has been diagnosed with Stage 4 ovarian cancer, an aggressive and rare form that requires immediate chemotherapy. After two years of caring for my dad, she is now fighting for her own life. My brother and I have suddenly become caregivers for both of our parents, all while trying to navigate early adulthood.

To make matters even more overwhelming, my mom’s business of 37 years has no choice but to close down considering her circumstances, adding an even greater burden to our already heartbreaking situation. She has put her heart and soul into the business she has loved for so many years and she considers her clients to be her family.

This GoFundMe is our lifeline. Every donation will help us cover medical bills, treatments, and essential expenses, giving my brother and me the ability to care for our parents without the fear of financial collapse. My family is never the one to ask for help.
