It is with heavy heart, and deep sadness that we share our dearest and most loving father Eugene John Bencivenga passed away suddenly on 9/5/2021 at 3:33pm due to complications after contracting COVID-19. Family was near and he passed peacefully.
If you knew him, you know how much he cared for his family and instilled in all of us the love he shared. He was the walking example of health and had no underlying health issues. A vegetarian for 40+ years, didn't smoke and rarely drank. Saying goodbye to him quickly through a glass window in the ICU unit is not how this was ever supposed to be. Our family and I couldn't hold his hand, talk to him or do anything that is "normal" when one is passing. It was beyond unfair. It is something that can never be fully described when losing someone suddenly and unexpectedly during a pandemic.
He is survived by 5 children, 4 grandchildren, and his wife (my mother) Debbie. He was an incredible father and person and was very selfless in everything he did. He touched so many lives and had amazing friends. His sudden passing has broken all of our hearts and we will greatly miss him forever. He was the foundation, heart, and center of our family.

All donations will be used to help fund his funeral and hospital expenses.
