Help the Beloved Edmonson Family

Donation protected
This campaign is in response to the unexpected death of Larry Edmonson on October 22, 2020. The goal is to assist his wife, Julie Edmonson, with the cost of funeral expenses. Larry battled years of diabetes and debilitating arthritis leaving him unable to be employed any longer in his life’s long work as a master plumber. These changes began a progression for Larry that proved to be tragic. Any contribution will be helpful and so appreciated. Thank you in advance. May God be with the Edmonson family and may Larry’s memory be eternal.

It is with regret, that I must share the news of losing the love of my life, Larry Edmonson. I loved this man so very much. I always tried to show him he was enough and he was loved. Larry’s physical ailments took a toll on his mental health and well-being. Despite everything I did to try and keep things together, Larry ended his life in despair. He felt he had no other alternative.

Although I am unable to change the outcome of Larry’s situation, I realize this is a time to share his story in hopes of saving the pain and tragedy of this happening to another family. My message is this; if you are feeling depressed and alone, these feelings are real and they need to be dealt with because you are worth so much more than you realize. Our issues can be fixed no matter what they are or how difficult they may seem. I can only hope that Larry’s death may reach someone else and help to pull them through a painful time and make them realize it is okay to seek help.

Please keep me and my family in your prayers at this time as my heart is overcome with sadness. I do not want to be ashamed of how Larry died or hide behind it. He was a wonderful man with a big heart! He was my high school sweetheart and husband of 33 years, father to our children Jessica, Christopher, and Casey, and “Paw-paw” to Madison, McKayla, Audrey, Leah, and Gracey. In his mind, he stepped out of the way so that I may continue. I know I must somehow find a way to pick up the pieces.  We will miss him beyond words…

Yours Truly, Julie
