Hello,

 

Thank you for taking a moment to consider helping the Belles family rebuild and recover from Hurricane Ida. During the rain heavy storm, Ed and his family's Hillside home was quickly and unexpectedly flooded terribly up into the first floor. Thankfully the family was able to be pulled to safety by the fire department without any serious injury.

 

Unfortunately, aside from a few valuables they were able to grab before being rescued by boat, almost everything in their home was destroyed by the flood waters. The Belles family has lost their vehicles, their appliances, their furniture and electronics, and the home itself suffered serious damage that will require substantial repair.

 

At this time, the Belles family is grateful to have the support of family while temporarily staying with relatives, however, their wish is to return to their longtime home in Hillside. Ed and his wife Robin have given freely of themselves in service of their careers and communities over many years. We, the community and the family and friends around them, would like to return that generosity in their time of need.
