Help the Begins Family Rebuild After Losing Everything in a Devastating Fire

In the early morning hours of January 16, 2025, the Begins family experienced an unimaginable loss when a devastating fire consumed their home. This wasn’t just a house—it was their children’s childhood home, a place filled with love, laughter, and the moments that make life meaningful. It was also the space where Leslie ran her home business, lovingly serving so many in our community.

While we’re grateful that Mark, Leslie, Rhiannon, Wyatt, and Memphis are safe and have family to stay with, the road ahead is overwhelming. They’ve lost everything: their belongings, cherished keepsakes, and the sense of security that comes with having a home.

Update: After meeting with their insurance company, the family has learned they will quickly reach the personal loss limit of their policy. This means many of their essential needs, including replacing personal items, furniture, and other household necessities, will far exceed their coverage. In addition, Leslie’s home-based business was also lost in the fire, leading to a significant loss of income for the family.

Because of this, we have increased the fundraising goal to better support the Begins family as they work to rebuild their lives and stabilize their future.
