In a matter of hours, Teri-Lynn and Cody's lives were turned upside down.

A catastrophic flood filled their home with nearly five feet of water, leaving behind extensive damage, sewage contamination, and heartbreak. Their basement was completely destroyed, and the damage throughout the home has made it unlivable. They have lost not only their belongings, but also the sense of security that every family deserves.

The flood claimed everything in their basement, including furniture, electronics, food storage, treasured keepsakes, their children's toys, and countless everyday necessities. Their furnace, hot water tank, washer and dryer, and major plumbing systems have all been destroyed. The sewage contamination throughout the home means extensive cleanup and restoration will be required before their family can return.

To make matters worse, their garage and everything inside it is also a total loss.

Teri-Lynn and Cody are the loving parents of two beautiful young daughters, ages 2 and 4, as well as two dogs and two cats. Overnight, these little girls lost the home they knew and loved. The family is now facing the overwhelming reality of finding temporary housing while trying to rebuild their lives from the ground up.

While disaster assistance may eventually become available, those funds can take months to arrive—and there is no guarantee they will cover the enormous costs this family now faces. In the meantime, they need immediate support for emergency housing, food, clothing, toiletries, cleanup, restoration, plumbing repairs, and replacing essential household items.
