Help the Baxter’s

To start things off I just want to introduce myself. My name is Kaitlyn Bott. I’m starting this GoFundMe account for my best friend and her family that I’ve known for 11 years. 

Five years ago Annette Baxter (Kylies mother)was diagnosed with breast cancer this breast cancer metastasized to her liver. There was only a short time period where she wasn’t having to deal with chemo treatments. As you can imagine her body is so tired... she’s been fighting for five years. FIVE YEARS!!! She has been so strong!

The last year has not been the easiest to say the least. There has been lots of hospital visits. And during times of COVID-19 and family not being able to be with their loved ones while admitted.  I know it has been hard not only for Annette but for the family as well not being able to  be there physically to fight with her. On September 14th Annette was admitted once again to Carle in Champaign. On September 21st 2020 a week later Annette came home, but this time with Hospice care.

The last few weeks have been hard.. Kylie and her siblings Kaitlin and Devin have had to make decisions that they never wanted to make at such a young age. 

Annette is tired. She’s been fighting for so long...  and the lord is calling her home. 

I’m making this GofundMe account for my best friend Kylie Baxter, her sister Kaitlin Baxter and brother Devin Baxter. There are a lot of unexpected out of pocket expenses that they are having to come up with and I want to do whatever I can to help this loving family. I don’t want this to have to be a worry for them during this time.
