Help the Battaglia's, overcoming loss and Health Challenges

I am recently widowed in April of this year (2024). My husband and I had only recently married, but had been together 21 years and raised 4 beautiful children. He had 2 amazing kids from a previous marriage and we had 2 sons together. I walked by his side the last 2 years as he battled cancer. He was my Superman. He lost his battle April 6, 2024. But today he is cancer free walking streets of gold in heaven with our Lord, Jesus Christ.

We barely had time to grieve and take it all in when another battle hit. My son suffered neurological effects from a bleed on his brain. A condition that runs in our family. He happened to be in Chicago visiting family when it struck. He was sent to a children's hospital in Chicago. I have been staying in the rooms with him since. He is currently doing in-patient rehabilitation due to the stroke-like symptoms he suffered. He will have surgery in August to remove the cavernoma on his brain stem.

God has always been gracious and taken care of us. Staying in Chicago for the last 3 weeks and not working has taken its toll financially. We just need a little help until we can get back home after the surgery and I can get back to work.
