We’re asking for support for Lauri Bartell, a very special woman who has been cared for lovingly by her family for over 10 years.

About 10½ years ago, Lauri experienced a severe brain injury due to an ulcer bleed. Since then, her family, especially her husband Mike Bartell, has been by her side every step of the way, providing constant care and support.

Mike is well known in the community not only as a devoted husband, but also as a dedicated football coach who has mentored and inspired countless young athletes over the years. His commitment to teaching, guiding, and supporting kids both on and off the field has made a lasting impact on many families, and reflects the same compassion and strength he has shown in caring for Lauri.

In the past few months, her health has declined, and her organs have begun to fail. She is now only comfortable with medication. After many difficult conversations, the family has made the decision to take her off life support on May 4th.

As they prepare for this loss, they are also facing the costs of funeral services and a headstone. We are asking for any help you may be able to give to support Mike and the family during this time. Services will be handled through Woods Funeral Home.
