Hello Everyone,

One of our FC Bay Area Surf families is in need of our support. Ricardo Banuelos, father of 2008 Josue was in his Doctor's office where he suffered a Stroke. He was transferred to the hospital (Good Samaritan) right away. Tuesday he had a heart surgery, then next day he had to get one or two live savings head surgeries (due to unmanageable brain inflammation). He was transferred to the NSICU department in the same hospital. This past Friday, Ricardo's wife let us know that he went to coma and his remains in critical condition. The good news from last week is that this brain inflammation is going away (or under control).

He will be in the hospital for some time and his family would like to be with him as much as possible. Ricardo's wife, Deyanira, has been trying to work, take care of the boys and be at the hospital. Help with monthly expenses will ensure she can be with Ricardo more instead of worrying about how to make ends meet on one income.

During this time, Deyanira, Josue and his brothers need our support and to know our entire Surf Family is behind him and his family to get them through this. Right now the loss of Ricardo's salary and time off Deyanira has to take is taking a toll on the family. Josue's older brother has also considered leaving college to help the family.
