Our colleague and amazing business partner at Halogen VC, Ashley Balla, and her husband, Jackson Balla, have sadly lost their home and all belongings from the horrendous Palisades fire. They are a growing family with a darling one-year-old boy, JJ, and a baby girl on the way. With the abrupt warning of the fires on January 7th, they had no time to pack their personal and sentimental belongings from their new home. The Ballas were just able to grab their baby from daycare and drive to family in San Diego.

 

We are absolutely devastated. Ashley and Jackson had built a wonderful community in the Palisades and planned to raise their beautiful family there. They are a loving family and supportive volunteers in the community. Jackson is an avid surfer and the most amazing dad. Ashley is the most generous, kind, and hardworking human. We encourage you to strongly consider donating to show your love and support for this wonderful family and to help them move forward with their lives and prepare for their baby on the way.
