Help the Ball Family Save Their Home and Business

I never thought I’d be in a situation to where I would have to grovel at the public’s feet to try to save my family. We have faced numerable setbacks in our business and personal life that have brought us to our knees recently.

My name is Noah Ball, I’m a husband to my beautiful and selfless wife (Eugenia Ball) and a father of six kids. We were blessed recently with a new addition to our family. His name is Ezra. He was a bit eager to come into the world due to my wife’s medical complications and arrived early, but he’s doing fine in Nicu. We are anxiouslyly awaiting his release from the hospital any day now.

I struggle asking for help because we have always been the family to help others. Over the last 15 years that my wife and I have been married, we have taken in multiple families and individuals and given them food, shelter, guidance, and a job so they can get back on their feet. It has not been easy, but it’s been rewarding. I’ve always felt that life isn’t worth very much if you’re not able to help others going through a rough time.

This past year, the business that we own, Flinn’s Rooter Service, has suffered multiple blows and setbacks. We started with four vehicles and now are down to one that is currently broken down on the side of the road as we speak. Our usual volume of calls is down dramatically by some months 50% or more. We have blown through savings, used up retirement accounts, even taken loans to keep going, but it has not been enough. We are now multiple months behind in our mortgage and vehicle payments and are at risk of being homeless, without a business, unless we can get some sort of assistance to bridge the gap until business picks up. A lot of people have told me they are very anxious about the election so I firmly believe once we have elected a new president, regardless of party, people will be more confident in spending money.

I have always been very strong-willed and independent and I’m not afraid to go door-to-door to sell our services, but it seems like many people are in a a very similar situation- the repair side of our business has dramatically slowed. People are holding off on higher dollar jobs. We do sewer and drain cleaning so when people need our services, it’s not something they can hold off on, but instead of opting to have these situations permanently repaired often times they are having to settle for simply getting everything flowing again and functional for the moment.

My goal with this campaign is to catch up on our mortgage and vehicle payments, which we are multiple months behind on. I also need a few essential vehicles repaired so that I can continue to work and bring in an income. One of my trucks needs a differential and a couple trucks need transmissions.

We have been unable to get approved for financial assistance through many helpful programs such as Medicaid, etc due to not having taxes complete for 2022 or 2023. We had hired several different accountants and none of them can figure out how to do our taxes. My wife recently bought a program and is trying to figure it out herself but has no experience. We can no longer afford to hire another accountant as we have drained all of our resources trying to pay the ones we had that were not able to complete the job (we had to pay for the accounting work time they put into it). Health insurance has gone up and is $2300 a month and we have not even added Ezra to the account yet but need to do that this week.

Anything will help at the moment even a few dollars. If everybody just contributes a small amount, it will have a huge effect for our family. We can repair the broken vehicles, pay down our mortgage, utilities, & vehicle payments, and possibly pay down some debt to lighten our monthly payments. Eugenia plans on doing some door dashing to help bring in some money when Ezra is out of the Nicu & during recovery of the c-section with the help of our homeschooled daughters (13 & 7).
