My sister, Wendy's husband, Wray,  has suffered a major stroke. He was airlifted to the hospital where they found a large blood clot deep in his brain and underwent surgery. They got most of the clot, but some too deep. At this point, Wray is incoherent, cannot move and remains in ICU. He will need extensive rehab for speech, OT, PT, etc. They have been through more than anyone should have to experience, especially having lost two children (our angels - Brenton and Jessica). Although she is one of the strongest women I know, Wendy is petrified of what the future will hold. With Wray being the main provider financially for his family, Wendy and their two daughters could really use any extra help to cover their household bills. Not only will she continue to work, but she will also be back and forth to the hospital and any doctors appointments down the road. Please put the word out and pray for my sister and her family.
