**Update: We are heartbroken to report that Steve Ashworth passed away last Sunday, October 19 after a short illness. We will continue to maintain this GoFundMe for the near future if you would like to generously support the Ashworth family in their time of grief and recovery.**

Thursday, September 25th Steve was admitted to Lewis Gale hospital with severe stomach pains. He was quickly diagnosed with sepsis and the need for a liver transplant. After spending the weekend sedated and on a ventilator, Steve was flown to VCU. He is currently working on getting stronger and his family is hopeful for a full recovery. The VCU doctors have an aggressive treatment plan and Jess could not be more thrilled. They are hoping to have Steve up and walking by next week

As the Ashworth family is focusing their energy on Steve's recovery, they could use our help.
