On December 7th, early in the morning, my stepsister woke up to her 5-month-old daughter, Kaomi Salynn, unresponsive. As any mother would do, she hurried to get help, and my dad started CPR. When the paramedics arrived, they told Drea quite literally the worst words that any parent would ever want to hear: no heartbeat. From then, Drea, Jonathan, and many others who dearly loved Kaomi had to say their last goodbyes at the hospital.

Imagine waking up to check on your baby just like normal, and your whole world is shattered. One of the strongest people I know needs our help. The Artis/Foster family has been given the traumatizing task of planning a funeral for a little girl who was taken far too soon. Anything helps, and prayers are needed.
