Dear Friends and Family,

I hope this message finds you well. My name is Rocio Escalante, and I am reaching out to share my family's story and request your support during an incredibly challenging time.

On behalf of Carlos Arias Sr. and our children—Carlos Arias Jr., Matthew Arias, and Emma Arias—I would like to open our hearts to you.

In March, our lives were turned upside down when Carlos, a truck driver, was involved in a tragic accident at work. While unloading large metal piping, the forklift driver moved the truck, resulting in a horrific accident where Carlos was struck in the head with a 500lb metal pipe, throwing him towards the forklift, breaking a rib, and the pipe crushing his foot. Miraculously, he survived, though it is nothing short of a miracle that he is still with us today. As we reflect on this, we are reminded that it was simply not his time.

As you can imagine, this accident has caused significant emotional and financial strain on our family. Carlos was responsible for providing half of the bills in the household, and his inability to work has left us facing substantial hardships. He has already undergone the amputation of two toes, and as the swelling continues to subside, further surgeries are necessary to assess the fractures of his foot. The doctors are carefully monitoring his condition day by day, and we remain uncertain of his full recovery trajectory. Your prayers for his healing would be greatly appreciated.

Unfortunately, due to the lack of medical insurance through his employer, we have been left to shoulder the full financial burden of his medical expenses. With the overwhelming costs of treatment and the ongoing needs of our family, we are seeking your support to help us navigate this difficult period.
