Help The Arc to fund Mia and Martha’s eye surgery

Hi, my name is Sally and I run The Arc - The Ashmore Rescue for Cats.

On Friday we took in a mom and her kittens who were struggling to survive on the streets of a dreadful area. As you can see little Mia and Martha are in a terrible state. Their mom Mabel and the other two kittens are in much better condition.

Mia (tabby and white) needs at least one of her eyes removing whilst Martha (tabby) requires both. These girls are only around 7 weeks old and deserve the best that we can give them. The enormous pressure in their eyes must be causing so much pain so we cannot hold off for the surgery.

Cats are amazing at coping with such life changing surgery - over the years we’ve had several kittens lose one or both eyes and they are the most amazing cats you will ever find.

Their surgery for the eye enucleation will cost the rescue a lot of money - our vet fees are already over £6000 so we desperately need to raise the funds to cover as much as possible.
