Help the Aranjo Family Rebuild After Fire
Donation protected
My name is David Hammersmith, and I have worked alongside and known Arely for about five years through our work at Fulton County Health Center. In the very early hours of Saturday, January 4th, the Aranjo’s experienced a devastating house fire in Wauseon that destroyed the second story of their home. The family of Oscar and Arely, as well as their two children, Alejandro and Aylee, were fortunately all able to reach safety and get out of the home.
Now comes a time for grief and surveying the damage this fire has brought to their lives. They were able to recover some clothes because it just happened to be laundry day, as well as the clothes they had on their backs. Much else was lost: the children’s Christmas gifts, the majority of clothes, things needed for daily living, utensils, toys, and priceless sentimental items that now only live in their memories.
They are good and proud people that would never want to ask for help. I have seen Arely’s kindness in her willingness to help people and put others before herself. And nothing in this world means more to her than her family and children.
As people that are so giving to others, I believe the time has come where they could use the help of friends, family, and community. Not that they would ask.
Please help however you can. Any generosity would be deeply appreciated.
