Help Support Kayley Apato’s Family After Tragic Loss

We are heartbroken to share that Kayley Apato, the beloved 4-year-old sister of two of our students at Glen Flora Elementary, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly from bacterial meningitis on Thursday, May 29th, 2025.

Kayley was born on October 20, 2020, and in her short time here, she brought so much light, joy, and laughter to those around her. Her passing has left an unimaginable void in the hearts of her family, friends, and our school community.

The Apato family is now facing the heavy burden of funeral expenses and the day-to-day challenge of keeping their family fed and supported during this incredibly painful time. We are reaching out to ask for your help—whether it’s through a donation of any amount or simply by sharing this message and sending your thoughts and prayers.

No family should have to go through this kind of loss alone. Your kindness, generosity, and support can make a world of difference.

Please consider donating to help ease the financial strain and allow the Apato family to focus on healing. And if you are unable to contribute financially, your prayers and positive thoughts are deeply appreciated.

Thank you for your compassion and love during this difficult time.

— With gratitude,
