Help the animals in North-India's desert to get a bore well!

Hello everyone, my name is Roza and I am raising money for my friend in India, my friend and his family, that also feels as my family. These people live in the western desert of northern India, where they run a desert farm and also try to generate an income with a (rented) hotel. They have had nothing but setbacks in the past year and now recently a few days of war and a big storm, which has caused so much damage. On the farm are some stone- and clayhouses and huts where about 10 families live under shabby conditions. They keep goats, sheep and some cows there, which have a pretty tough time every year from March to October. Temperatures there can reach 50C and the animals need a lot of shade and water. The primitive shelters that were built to provide shade - of wooden poles and grass mats - were all blown to pieces with the storm of the 1 May. The water supply is also very primitive so it is a huge ordeal for everyone and their animals to live and survive in that heat.

In the nearby town, one of the men, my very good and special friend, runs the rented hotel, however due to wars around the world and lack of digital resources, it has been a bad year with financial losses for him and the family. There is no website, nor even a secondhand laptop, nor tablet and no proper booking system to attract customers.

Everything is now done on an old telephone with a very old and slow battery and there is no working booking system at all. He has to rely on people who happen to walk by..... which of course works only to a very limited extent.

Through all this, the family is also struggling with a lack of food and clothing.

Now I asked my friend what they need most. The answer was: a bore well for the animals. This is a well that needs to be drilled at a depth of 100 to 150 metres. The cost of this is about €3500,- Apart from their own animals and families, they would then like the whole village , all people and animals there and all kinds of stray animals in the desert to benefit from it. They would also like to build a stable for the animals made of stone, mud or clay, one that gives more shade and cannot be blown away. It would make life so much more pleasant for the people and animals there!

If you ask me what they need most, I would say food and clothes first. But then especially digital resources, a laptop, a decent telephone and a website with a booking system, so that the hotel can become a success and they can start generating enough income from it to support themselves. I estimate the cost of this at around €1000,-

I would so much like it all for them, the bore well and to make a success of the hotel. Happy animals and happy people. These are such sweet, generous and hospitable people!

That's why I have set €5000 as a goal.
