On Sunday morning, September 21, the Anderson family lost their home to a house fire. Thankfully, Shannon, Ryan, their children, and their dogs made it out safely, but they lost nearly all of their possessions and the place they called home.

The Andersons are now facing the overwhelming task of rebuilding their lives from the ground up. The costs of temporary housing for the next 12-18 months while also putting money into a rebuild are enormous.

Funds raised here will go directly toward:

• Temporary housing - renting a place for the next 12-18 months while they rebuild their home

• Rebuilding their home so they can return to a safe and permanent space

• Replacing essentials and furnishings lost in the fire

• Replacing the essential tools that Ryan uses to make a living

The Andersons are grateful to be safe, but the road ahead is long and daunting. Many of us have been helped personally by members of the Anderson family in various ways whether it is Shannon in the classroom or Ryan lending a hand to fix things.
