Help the 'Anderson Family' rebuild after a tragic house fire

The Anderson Family, a local Milbrodale family, tragically lost everything in a house fire on Saturday night, March 1st, 2025. While they have secured temporary accommodation, they urgently need essentials—clothing, shoes, household items, and financial support to help them start over.

Words from Jo: "The night our world changed. I received a call that no one wants to make or take—I was told our house was on fire! I can’t even describe my emotion at this time—shock, fear, and tears were just a few. We have lost everything in our house except the beating hearts that lived in it, the clothes on our backs, and the shoes on our feet. The memories that hung on walls, artwork from our children, awards and accolades they worked so hard for, HSC major works and awards, school books, formal and wedding dresses, Nat’s wedding ring, toys, games, work computers—our stuff that we worked every day to buy or achieve. Yes, it’s all just stuff, but it was our stuff. However, I truly am grateful we are all safe.... This has been, and will be, the toughest road we have walked as a family, but I know we will get through it. My resilient, gorgeous children have cried, shaken, and realized everything they have lost, but now they hold their heads up, knowing we will help them rebuild. We couldn’t be prouder of them. Hold your family tight and love them, because you never know how or when life can change.”
