After the recent passing of Ken and Sharon, the grandparents and adoptive parents of Greg and Thomas, Jessica and Caleb are relocating to Oregon to pursue guardianship and eventually adoption of both boys. They are preparing to move to Oregon so that the boys can remain in their home and schools, and are currently working through the legal process of becoming their legal guardians. With the support of Jessica's parents Steve and Joanne, the Andersens are hoping to make this change within the next 2 months. The family is also working through the financial and logistical challenges that resulted from Ken and Sharon's passing within 4 months of each other as well as the affairs of their estate.
