Please Help the Andersen Family in Their Time of Need

Life has taken an unexpected and heartbreaking turn for the Andersen family. Tyler, a devoted husband, loving father, and the main provider for their sweet family of five, was recently injured in a serious work-related accident—and their world has been turned upside down.

Initially misdiagnosed by workers’ compensation doctors, Tyler’s injury was not taken seriously. His claim was denied, and treatment was delayed. It wasn’t until he sought a second opinion that doctors discovered the real issue—a torn ACL that had cut off blood flow to his leg. By then, the damage had progressed, and the window to appeal had passed. Tragically, the lack of oxygen to his leg led to further complications, including a stroke.

Since then, Tyler has been working hard on the long road to recovery. He now requires care from several specialists at the University hospital, which has added significantly to the family’s financial strain. The costs of travel, appointments, treatments, and follow-up visits are mounting quickly.

Meanwhile, Callie is doing everything she can to keep the family afloat—caring for Tyler, supporting their three young children, and managing her own ongoing health challenges. Despite everything, she continues to give her all with grace, strength, and unwavering love.
