Help the Anciso Family Thrive Through Challenge

On May 17th The Anciso Family received devastating news. Terra tested positive for Breast Cancer. Their world came to a stop. They now had to figure out what this looked like moving forward. Terra was referred to Fred Hutch Cancer Center in Seattle WA. On June 11th she met with her team of Oncologists and started the process. After countless scans, Images and Biopsys Terra was diagnosed with Stage III (IDC) Invasive Ductal Carcinoma. 2 Tumors measuring 5.5 CM and in multiple Lymph Nodes. 2 under her arm and 1 in her chest. Terra spent a full day with her team of Oncologists to come up with her treatment plan. The treatment plan with consist of 5 months chemotherapy - 2 months on Doxorubicin - known as The Red Devil. 3 months on Taxol. Terra will then have multiple surgeries in December. The removal of the 2 tumors, as many lymph nodes as needed, reconstructive surgery and a procedure call LYMPHA which is not covered by insurance. This procedure helps reduce the risk of lymphedema which can cause life ling morbidity. After surgeries and 1 month recovery Terra will begin Targeted Radiation in Seattle WA. Since radiations is every day Monday through Friday for 6 weeks, she will live in Seattle close by Fred Hutch. This treatment plan will be a lot for the Anciso Family. Emotionally, physically and financially. With all of the support from Family and Friends the family will get through this ! For now this is the new normal. Life will never be the  same moving forward. With all the love and support they will survive. Terra is married to Danny Anciso. They have two childred Alex and Devin. Terra and Danny have played a big part in the WV Football Community over the last 10 years. The Anciso Family is so grateful and forever Thankful for everyone that has reached out to them and  has supprted them through this Journey. Because of this Terra and the family are in a better place mentally and physically.
