Help The Amezcua Children... Single Father Died

Donation protected
On Thursday, December 10, Abraham Amezcua, tragically passed away in his home, found deceased by his eldest son Moses. He was battling COVID-19 at home and did not make it through the night.

Abraham was a single father who was raising three children, one of which is autistic and has additional needs. Earlier this year, he went on disability and like many others was doing his best to keep a roof over his children’s head and food on the table. After a few months, he could not keep up on the bills, he became sick with COVID, and passed. The children are left in a home that is 6 months behind on rent, water and power payments. Unfortunately, he did not prepare financially for his passing and children’s future.

These precious children, Moses (12), Antonio (11) and Sydney (11) need your support during this critical time as they also experienced the passing of their grandmother 2 weeks before on November 25. The three of them have also contracted COVID and are currently in isolation. We hope to collect funds that will provide immediate financial aid to keep these children in their current environment and for upcoming struggles that may arise. The water and power company has provided notice they will cut water and power in one week, December 23, if all back payments are made. The family is in great need of financial support at this time. The children are blessed to have an aunt that loves them and will provide care, but she is also unemployed and under financial duress. These children are devastated at the loss of their beloved father and the wonders of Christmas will be forever tainted in their hearts. These are precious children who cannot fend for themselves.

THANK YOU for any help you can give whether it be a financial donation of $1 or more or sharing this post. All donations are greatly appreciated. We also ask, during this difficult time, to please continue to keep the family in your prayers.

I am a cousin of Moses, Antonio and Sydney. While our extended family is trying to best to come together and provide support, additional financial and spiritual support is greatly appreciated for these children.
Susan Castaneda is the beneficiary for this account. She is my mother, Abraham’s sister, and other aunt for Moses, Antonio and Sydney. She has opened an account for these funds that will be used for financial support for these kids - rent, utilities, transportation, education, health, clothing, food, and the ability to still be a kid and try to have some fun... related expenses are covered and taken care of.

For those of you who have asked about donating physical gifts, cards or other donations, we will be at Harry Bridges Span School Sunday, December 20, 2020 between 12pm and 1pm for drive by drop offs.  Thank you again for all contributions and prayers!
