Ames family displaced by house fire

Hi my name is Brenda Rosewarne and I am fundraising for the Ames family. They had a fire in there home on Tuesday 12/7/21 . When the Orange fire department arrived, there was heavy smoke showing from the roof, eaves and front door, and heavy fire was showing from the basement. The Firemen made an aggressive attack & knocked down, confining the majority of the fire to the basement area although heavy smoke damage was reported throughout the first floor as well. The crews were able to rescue some of the animals including the family dog. The dog was in distress and needed immediate oxygen and transported to the vet. Unfortunately a few pets did perish.

Pat was taken to the Umass burn center for burns and smoke inhalation and released this morning.

The family will remain displaced for an indefinite amount of time. Dave and Pat were well known for volunteering and giving back to the community. Here’s our chance to give back to them.
