Help the Alster Family

This sibling group unexpectedly lost their beloved father, Rob Alster, on November 14th, 2021. Rob’s six children are in total shock and grieving, each in their own way.

 

Rob was a loving and devoted father. Having a large family brought him great joy. Rob took pride in each of his children and delighted in their growth as individuals.

 

Rob died of a massive heart attack while walking home from his night shift job. He was the sole wage earner for his family, and worked very hard to provide for everyone. His efforts included working night shift at his full time job, as well as picking up side jobs in order to meet his family’s needs.

 

Our extended family is pulling together to support Rob’s children through this sad and scary time. Without Rob‘s income, there is real concern about their housing, food, utility bills, and other immediate needs. We also know that they will all benefit from mental health services over the coming weeks and months.

 

All funds raised will be used to meet this family’s immediate needs in the tragic aftermath of losing their father. Also, it would mean so much to us if you could keep these heartbroken children close to your own hearts as we enter the holiday season. Thank you.
