Help the Almadhoun family

Hello everyone, my name is Shiva, and I'm creating this account on behalf of my friend Ahmed and his family in Gaza. Please take the time to read his message below:

After 19 months of war on Gaza and starvation, I am asking for your support for my family who are currently trapped in the war torn Gaza Strip.

The ongoing conflict has destroyed our lives, our house, our only source of income, our university, our schools and everything, are at risk every second, and we face the constant threat of death. But we still have hope to rebuild our lives better, and with your help and donations we will be able to do

• We are now facing the hardest days of our lives. The occupation has blocked the entry of food and medicine for over a 3 months, and a new famine has begun. Prices have skyrocketed beyond imagination.

• One kilogram of cooking gas, which used to cost $1 before the war, now exceeds $90.

• 25kg of flour now costs $400.

• A kilogram of frozen meat, which was once $5, is now $250, a distant dream to even see, let alone buy.

Life is unbearably difficult, but with your support and generosity, we can survive, Insha’Allah.

I am writing this message with tears in my eyes, but I still hold on to a little hope, that you won’t turn away, that you will stand with me and my family in our fight to survive.
