Help the Aldridges Through Health Challenges

My name is Erika Griffith. My brother, Jake, and I started this project for our grandparents, Ronny and Sherry Aldridge.

Last month, Mimi found out that she has breast cancer. She is scheduled to have a double mastectomy at the end of September and will do chemotherapy 3 times per month for a year. She is the primary caregiver of our Grandaddy, who has been battling Pulmonary Fibrosis for years. His health has declined drastically and is no longer in any shape to care for her. He is on oxygen full time and has very little strength. Although we would love to be able to care for them full time, we both live over an hour away from their home, have full-time jobs, and small children. We hope to be able to get them home health if/when it comes to that. There will be a multitude of medical bills and travel costs associated with the cancer treatment. There will also be a need for a more reliable vehicle that can make the weekly drive to Lubbock, as theirs is in need of repairs and has very high mileage.
