Help the Alberts with Katie's Memorial Expenses

Hi, I'm Jeannine Thompson, and I've known the Albert family for many years, as do many of us in Giles county, and especially in Narrows. George and Sam are wonderful people who have always helped out many others in our community.

On Thursday night, October 24th, George and Sam went through the most horrible experience parents can go through. Their wonderful daughter, Katie, suddenly collapsed and passed away.

Katie was such a beautiful girl, she was definitely her mom and dad's spitting image. She was shy, kind, and caring, like Sam - she would be quiet up until you brought up one of her favorite things, and then she just bubbled with excitement. Then you had your moments where you could absolutely see George. She'd get this mischievous glint in her eye and would drop a sarcastic comment that had everyone cracking up. Her brothers, Joe and Brandon, were close to her, and you could just tell how much she loved them, even when she rolled her eyes at their antics. Her older siblings, Desi and Austin, loved her to bits too.

The family is absolutely rocked by this tragedy, and they unfortunately did not have a life insurance policy on her. Because honestly, who expects this sort of horrible thing to happen. I'm trying to help them cover the expenses for this, to help them in this extremely difficult time. Any contribution, no matter how small, will make a significant difference and help them worry about one less thing during this devastating time.
