Help Al-Burbar family escape!

Edit: If we raise enough funds we will attempt to evacuate the Al-Burbar family but until then the aim of these funds is to raise enough money to go towards Adil’s medicine as well as general needs like food and clothes.

Also, I previously incorrectly stated Adil has Stage 4 Prostate Cancer. He actually has Stage 4 Bladder Cancer. This was a translation error on my part, I've now changed it to reflect this.

A little of the Al-Burbar family situation:

Their home, in Gaza City, has been destroyed and they have been displaced. This happened very early on in the war. By the end of October, they found themselves without a home, without shelter and without their usual comforts. Things like clean water, easy access to food and clean clothes have become a luxury item to them. With nothing but the clothes on their back, they left their home in Gaza City and moved south to Rafah and have been living in a tent since then. They have escaped bombings and now the safe space in Rafah is also being bombed. The Al-burbar family consists of my Aunt Fatma, her husband Adil and her son Haytham.

Haytham Al-Burbar is a 24 year old from Gaza. He is a professional bodybuilder and a personal trainer. He has previously represented Palestine in an International Bodybuilding Tournament and come on top with a Gold medal. He has a Bachelors Degree in Information Technology and Multimedia - though he missed out on the graduation ceremony due to the bombing of his University!

Haytham gets his drive from his mother who has a Bachelors Degree in English and is a UNRWA English Teacher. Haytham’s hopes to leave Gaza with his parents to save them and to achieve his dream of representing Palestine around the world.

Haytham is the only son of Fatma and Adil.

Haytham’s father, Adil, is terminally ill. He had been diagnosed, just before the war, with Crohn's disease and Bladder Cancer. Adil has not had any treatments since the war started and his condition is worsening every day. There are no treatments to help him in Gaza as the hospital system there has completely collapsed and so as a result there hasn’t been any monitoring of his Cancerous Malignant Tumours. Of course, you can imagine the toll this has taken on his body. He is very weak, he is very ill and he regularly complaining of numbness in the limbs, migraines and severe vertigo.

All funds towards the Al-Burbar the funds will also go towards medical expenses for Adil, once they get to Egypt. If this fundraiser is successful, the funds will go towards evacuating the Al-Burbar family into Egypt
