Help the Alagic family

On December 24th, 2021 my best friend Sana lost her sweet mama. At the age of 55, Besima Alagic lost her battle against frontotemporal dementia, a disease which caused loss of memory, speech, and muscle deterioration, most rapidly occurring throughout the course of the past year. Signs of dementia started when Besima was 49, but was undiagnosed until she was 51. 

 

Besima was a beautiful woman, with a kind soul and a loving heart- a wife, mother, sister, and friend. Her family and friends have been on this tough road with her and must now mourn this tremendous loss.

 

I am starting this fundraiser to help alleviate some of the financial burden on her family during this difficult time. An illness like this generates many medical bills, including those from the month-long hospital stay leading up to her passing, funeral costs, etc. Please consider donating or sharing for others to donate, so we can come together to help the Alagic family while they focus on healing.
