My name is Ahmad, a 23-year-old young man from Gaza. I work as a photojournalist.
Every day, I face bombing, hunger, and danger—but despite everything, I carry my camera and document the truth. I try to be present at every event happening in Gaza to show the world what we’re going through.
My beautiful home, full of memories, was destroyed. I lost my father, and now I live with my family—seven people in total. I am the one responsible for them, doing everything I can to provide them with some safety, even though there is no real safety anywhere in Gaza.
This war has taken away our sense of security, even the basic right to food. As a photojournalist, I face extreme danger every day just to show the world what is happening here.
I’m asking for your help so I can continue my work, support my family, and live with some dignity.
Every bit of support is a lifeline.
