Help the Ahearn Family

Hi, my name is Leona, and I started this fundraiser for Candice Ahearn and her children (Matthew and Keeley) so that they can concentrate on grieving right now and not have to worry about expenses. Steven has been fighting hard against COVID, but unfortunately, the prognosis does not look good. She posted this message this morning:

 

"I have not provided an update tonight as I wanted to make sure his brothers, our children and steven's best friends were notified first. The doctor wants me to come up on Sunday between 12-1 to make the decision. Either trach him and they will send him to a nursing home with no quality of life or take him off the machines and let him go peacefully. We all agree Steven would never want to be in a nursing home. Please please pray for my children."

 

Candice is a very strong and capable woman, but I know that she needs help right now. The money raised will help cover meals, medical bills, and other expenses. She and the children should not have to worry about how they will pay for everything while facing this difficult decision. The Ahearn family needs our help and support right now.
