Help the Aharoni family bring Z home

Friday, February 3rd my good friend Ron went out on a trail ride with his daughter and a friend. As they made their way back to the barn Ron and his horse Z were struck by a car. Z took off and was found hours later and transported to the equine vet. Ron was airlifted to the hospital but did not survive.
In my nearly two years knowing Ron, there was rarely a day that went by that we didn’t see one another or talk/text. Whether it was him asking if I needed him to grain my horse or turn him out or just to ask how my kids were. You never had to ask him for help because he’d always ask before you had the chance to.
His daughter Einav was riding my horse when her father was struck and unfortunately witnessed the accident.
Ron believed in Z and never gave up on her. Earning the trust of a horse with a history of abuse isn’t an easy task but he won her over and she adored him.
The family is overwhelmed with grief at this time and shouldn’t have to worry about bringing his horse back home.
The driver who struck them was let go without so much as a ticket.
All donations will go toward the care and keeping of Z as she recovers.

If we exceed the $2500 goal all donations will be put toward Z’s future feed & board.
Board is $375 a month + feed is $200-$250 per month plus any continued vet care related to the accident.
