We're raising money for a friend of our families, Jacqueline Aguilar, to help cover medical bills.
Her family is going through an extremely difficult time. Jacqueline herself was in the hospital in March. She has severe diabetes, her blood pressure was high, she was retaining water, and her heart and lungs were struggling. When she got out of the hospital she immediately returned to work even though she was far from being well. Now her husband just suffered a stroke. He's in the hospital, and they just found that he has a cerebral blood clot. They have a 16 year old daughter, Joanna.
While they've had some insurance coverage to help manage part of their medical bills, they are now facing astronomical bills from both the hospital stays and needed medication. This is a hard working family - but we all know the cost of health care in this country, and how it can bury people who are already going through the most horrendous time in their lives.
We have known Jacqueline and her family for more than a decade. Jacqueline is incredibly hard working, deeply caring, efficient and has a great sense of humor. She helped raise our kids, and continues to take care of us to this day. If you can, please help.
