This past Sunday on June 6th 2021, Ali Afari, a beloved member of the Rochester community and father of 1, passed away unexpectedly while boating in Lake Ontario. Ali has always been a kind soul, and him and his family have always been selfless in their need to take care of others around them. As him and his family immigrated from Iraq around 15 years ago, they have made a substantial impact on those around them, including my own family. I am making this gofundme for memorial and funeral costs for the Afari family. Ali leaves behind both his parents, two brothers, and sister, as well as his two year old son.
