Greetings friends, family, and customers,

This week Alex Acosta (Store Manager and Head Chef at Chicken Works and Salad Company) tragically lost his wife, Irene Alejandra Devillada, due to a hit-and-run car accident. Alex and his family are devastated by this unfortunate incident.

Alex helped to start Chicken Works and Salad Company approaching fifteen years ago and has served thousands of Chicagoland customers. He is one of the most dedicated employees and father. Alex was married to his wife Irene for 20 years; together they raised Evelyn 18, Jackie 16, and Natalie 10.

We would like to raise money for the Acosta family to help with funeral/memorial expenses and a college fund for the three children. Any support you may be able to provide would be greatly appreciated. Please keep the Acosta family and friends in your thoughts and prayers.
