Bring Abdullahs family back from starvation
My name is Abdullah. I am a father of a young son. I hold a master's degree and worked as an academic lecturer in Palestine University's journalism faculty. When Israeli forces destroyed the university during the war on Gaza, I lost my only source of income. Since the war began, I've received nothing—no salary, no support. This was my family's sole means of survival.
Current Situation
I have no income and my home is severely damaged—nearly condemned. I need support from anyone willing to help.
The war has devastated everything. Half my house is destroyed, the other half marked for removal. Most of my family were martyred. My wife and son were injured. My university is gone, my income vanished. Even basic necessities like food and water are unavailable. There's nothing left to document. Still, praise be to God.

Economic Reality
Life here costs everything we don't have. Since the war started, I've had zero income while caring for a small child who needs diapers and basic supplies. A pack of diapers costs over 100 shekels—about $50.
Price Examples (in Shekels/USD)
- Flour: 80 shekels ($40/kilo)
- Sugar: 150 shekels ($60/kilo)
- Za'atar: 100 shekels ($40-50/kilo)
- Single onion: 40 shekels ($20)
- Garlic head: 40 shekels ($20) *when available*
- Baby formula: 50+ dollars *when available*
- Watermelon: 40 dollars
- Eggs: 100+ dollars/carton ($5 per egg)
- Cooking oil: 100 shekels ($35-40) *when available*
Fish, chicken, and meat haven't been available since the war began. We're paying European prices during wartime—if items exist at all.
Before the war, we bought all this, including meat, for under $100.
Personal Impact
My son has eaten eggs maybe twice since the war started. Each egg costs 15 shekels ($5). We're surviving on whatever we can find.
My wife and son were injured early in the war—shrapnel wounds that left scars. Thank God they survived.
Financial Challenges
Money exchange here takes 40% in fees. If I need $1,500 for vegetables and essentials, I only receive about $800 after fees.
I haven't received assistance from any organization until now. Without outreach like yours, I wouldn't know help existed outside Gaza.
Basic Needs
Food, shelter, diapers, clothing—these are my family's basic needs.
Everything is expensive. Everything is scarce. But we endure.
Praise be to God in all circumstances.

Please help donate to another family to reduce the risk of starvation , as well as the risk of going out to search for food, which has led to Gazans being killed. Thank you.
