Hello, my name is Bernardo Abarca, but some of you may know me as Bern or Bernie. Usually, we handle this within our family, but my family has been shattered by the passing of my mother. On Wednesday, December 18th, my parents and I were heading to Mazatepec, Mexico, along with my uncle and cousin. Around 9 in the morning, we tried to take a left curve that was really sharp but lost control due to a broken pothole. We fell off a small edge, where we flipped multiple times. We were all badly hurt, but my mother lost her life in the horrible accident.

As hospital bills stacked up and cost us a bit, and now, we are trying to return home to get properly treated, I ask if you can donate even $5 to help my siblings with the expenses they incurred to help me and my father at the hospital and the expense they are about to handle to come back to the States. I appreciate the support that I was given from my friends and family, but this will help me help my siblings in everything they've done for us. Please and thank you!

I also wanna say that if you have your parents close this Christmas, hug them and tell them you love them because you never know when will be the last time you see them.
