Help the 85 Build Refuge Village

Hello, I want to introduce you to a brave group of people. Back in April of this year, 35 priests converted to Christ en masse under my preaching. Their entire families soon followed. We call them "the 85."

They have suffered and have been terribly persecuted ever since. All they want is to live in peace. But here is what has happened to them. They were cast out of their homes, lost the schools for their children, were rejected for any further help from government assistance, have been living in abject poverty ever since. They have been physically attacked. One of the wives was dying and in a coma from a severe beating she received for confessing Christ. I am happy to report she was miraculously and instantly healed by the Lord. They have been moved 3 times, and are nearly starving at this point.

Happily, they have been offered an olive branch by local government authorities. If the money can be raised, they will be given 100 meters square as a forever plot of land to establish a new village. It will be called "Refuge Village." But in order to seize this wonderful opportunity they have to come up with $1,750 to pay for the registration by August 25th. Once this fee is paid, the land will be theirs to hold forever. In addition, a deep well will need to be drilled. So their current need is around $5,000.

Won't you help these dear people restart a new life and build a Christian community in a hostile land? They have many young families with children, even infants. Many of the men now want to become Christian pastors to spread the Good News to all those around them. They are sincere and eager to go forward in their new lives. They are under so much pressure, but are firm in their commitment to follow Christ.

As their pastor, I will oversee the process as it unfolds. Having just returned from there, I can attest to their dire situation and to the wonderful opportunity being placed before them. This kind of opportunity won't come again anytime soon. The current offer is seen as miraculous in and of itself.
