What's up everyone? Not sure if you heard, but in September, my brand Last One Left (@1offproject) was featured in its first major publication in La Times Image Magazine! I was able to tell a story about a major project the team completed in the desert last year, and we used that location for the photoshoot. You can check out the full article Here.
Here's some background about this fundraiser: I bought my family's 1995 Chevrolet Astro Van, in August last year and repaired it for use as a company vehicle as I was spending alot on U-haul trucks to go back and forth to markets. My good friend Andre Garcia helped me repaint the van's base coat, and then the legendary Kenny Scharf did what he calls a "Karbomb" on it, making it an incredibly unique art piece. We also painted my BMW earlier that year and I use it as a sponsorship vehicle to represent all the brands that are riding with me.
Now that you have the background, I will tell you why you're here. On the way to the desert to do that shoot, both of these vehicles took damage. The van completely broke down before we got out of LA and the engine needs to be rebuilt. The BMW had an ac hose pop due to the extreme heat, and a catalytic converter error popped up simultaneously, which I was unprepared for. I didn't let these things stop me because I had to make the photo shoot happen (in 104-degree heat), but now I have run into some financial issues trying to fix them, so I need your help! Help me and the 1-Off crew get back on the road! I appreciate everyone who has supported thus far and I'm incredibly thankful that you are part of the story. Anything helps. Hopefully we can send some goodies in return for donations! Thanks.
