Help Tharush (12yrs) Get Life-Saving Open Heart Surgery
Donation protected
Hello, my name is Kaumadhi De Zoysa, and I am humbly reaching out on behalf of Tharusha Dewmina Bandara Wijekoon, a brave 12-year-old boy from Sri Lanka who needs urgent help.
Tharusha’s Journey So Far:
Tharusha was born with a complex congenital heart condition known as Tricuspid Atresia. His fight began at a young age when he underwent his first heart procedure, PA Banding, in 2012. Two years later, in 2014, he underwent another critical procedure, BDGS, as part of his ongoing battle against this life-threatening condition.
Now, after a recent pre-Fontan assessment in 2023, his doctors have determined that it is the right time for him to undergo the Fontan Operation—an advanced form of open-heart surgery designed to improve his heart’s function and give him a better quality of life.
This life-saving surgery is scheduled for June 1, 2025, at Lanka Hospital in Sri Lanka.
Why We Need Your Help:
Open-heart surgery is a complex and expensive procedure, and the costs are beyond what Tharusha’s family can afford on their own. Our goal is to raise enough funds to cover his surgery, hospitalization, medication, and post-surgery care.
How You Can Make a Difference:
Donate - Any amount, big or small, will bring us one step closer to saving Tharusha’s life.
Share - Even if you are unable to donate, please share this campaign with your friends and family to help us reach more kind-hearted people.
Pray - Your thoughts, prayers, and kind wishes mean the world to Tharusha and his family.
We have attached the letters issued by Lanka Hospital for transparency, and we are committed to providing updates on Tharusha’s condition and the progress of his surgery.
Thank you for taking the time to read Tharusha’s story. With your kindness and generosity, we hope to give him the chance to live a healthier, happier life.
Warm regards,
