Help Thalia Regain Her Independence

This is Thalia. She is a 6-year-old silver lab. She loves running at the beach, chasing after balls, being outside swimming and rolling in the snow. She loves her life.
This is my girlfriend and Thalia's person Meagan. Meagan enjoys throwing the ball for Thalia, walking on the beach with her, and being accosted with love from Thalia when she comes home after working any one of her three jobs in medical imaging. Meagan is a wonderful, loving and giving woman. Whether it's putting her nephew through college, helping family with transportation or going out of her way to make sure that her friends feel loved she is always giving to those around her. And Meagan loves Thalia more than I can put into words.
This is Thalia a few years ago playing in the snow and loving life.
And this is Thalia this week.
The vet took x-rays and confirmed that if we want her to have any chance at a normal life again then both her CCL ligaments will need to be repaired. The surgery is extensive and extremely costly. Each knee will cost $5-6k. This is not including the cost of multiple follow up x-rays, appointments to check for her healing progress and all the pain management that will be necessary while she recovers and after.
Thalia has been the love of Meagan's family's life. She saved them after Meagan's mother passed and gave them something to love unconditionally. Thalia has given back that unconditional love in spades. Now she is living in pain and can hardly move on her own. This surgery is the only chance to repay her for everything she's done for this family.
We've done everything we can to pull our finances together to take care of this wonderful and loving dog. All of our efforts have shown that we simply cannot do this alone. Please help us give Thalia a chance at a long, happy and independent life. Any help you can manage would be appreciated beyond measure.
Whether you can help or not we appreciate you reading our story. We wish you and all your loved ones a happy holiday!
