Hello everyone, my name is Thais, or Amy, whatever you prefer. After 12 years living in domestic violence, I finally got divorced. Now it's just me and my three children, who are my world. We are starting over with very little, and every day is a challenge as I try to keep my family safe and together.

I am disabled and rely on my guide dog, but I do not have any assistance right now. I am actively searching for a job that can accommodate both me and my guide dog, but finding work has been difficult. In the meantime, we are struggling to pay rent, cover our bills, and buy food. I am doing everything I can to provide for my children, but we need help to stay above water and avoid losing our home.
