Help Thaer Recover From His Stroke

In July, my father, Thaer Omar, was admitted into the hospital for a brain mass. Since then, he’s had two brain surgeries and a minor stroke. His neurologist says he’s come a long way since his incidents and that with the much needed rehabilitation therapy, he is hopeful that he will improve greatly and have a good recovery.
Unfortunately, my dad is uninsured and is unable to become insured. Because of this, he has not been able to get the rehabilitation care that he needs thus far. After two months of hospitalization, his medical bills are now well over $200,000, an amount that we simply cannot afford. He has recently developed bed sores and blood clots from having to constantly lay down on the hospital bed and the hospital not being properly equipped in providing him with the care he needs.
The goal of this GoFundMe is to gather enough money to pay for his rehabilitation so that instead of him remaining sedentary in a hospital bed, we are able to get him up and into a good program given that this is the most crucial time for his recovery. I will also use the funds to cover some of his medical debt and whatever follow-up care he will need once he is back home with me.

Thaer Omar is 57 years old and is a father of three. He is a very outgoing and talkative guy that is full of life. He’s always done his best to support his kids no matter what the circumstances may be. He loves to lift weights and spend time with friends and family. Thaer is originally Palestinian and came to the United States a little over 20 years ago. Sadly, Thaer Omar recently suffered a stroke. It has been tough seeing somebody who has always been so energetic stuck in a hospital bed unable to function to his full capacity. His family would greatly appreciate any support that will help him get back on his feet so that he can be the happy man that they all know.
